Who are we?
Orphans No More (ONM) is a special organization dedicated to the plight of the orphan. Our founder, Michael Hayden, initially developed Family Legacies in 2005 to benefit adoptive couples; a few years later, Family Legacies merged with Lifesong for Orphans. During that process in 2008, the Lord spoke to Michael’s heart about an Orphans No More ministry.
What do we do?
We assist adoptive couples in raising funds to help offset and pay for a portion of their adoption-related expenses. Orphans No More returns 100% of our profits back to you. We also have a prayer team that will be praying for your adoption.
Why do we do this?
We have been granted a design patent on two unique pieces of jewelry symbolizing the area of “adoption”, the “Orphans No More Cross” and the “Cross of Hope”. Both of these prayer crosses have a powerful message that shares how Jesus –through His shed blood– paid the penalty for all the sins of those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior while He allows us to be adopted into His family. It further reminds us that Jesus loves all the children of the world.
How can we help?
There are two ways we can help.
When an adoptive couple agrees to utilize the ONM fundraising program, you will receive a personal webpage on the ONM website. There will be an area for you to post a picture of your family, a bio and short story, and a place for you to enter information so your supporters can track your progress. We also have pre-printed letters for you to personalize and send out to family and friends.
• On your webpage there will be a link to the ONM product area for your supporters to use to purchase items. Each one of your supporters will receive a coupon code so that you receive a 50% credit on all of their purchases. That 50% represents 100% of our profit that we are returning to you. There is no inventory to stock, money to collect, forms to turn in, etc. We take care of that, so that you can focus on your adoption. All you have to do is open the envelope we send you with a check made payable to you to help pay your adoption expenses.
Spiritual Purpose
Our prayer crosses are meant to be a daily reminder for your family, friends, and supporters to pray for your adoption. They can be worn, kept in a pocket, next to a computer, in a car, on top of a Bible, desk, or kitchen table. Wherever it will be seen everyday. You and your family need their prayers! When your event is over the prayer crosses can be a daily reminder to pray and remember what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for us…shed His blood to pay the penalty for our sins and to take away the power of sin. That’s what the red on the cross represents. We need to appropriate our death, burial and resurrection on a daily, moment-by-moment basis. Jesus took our past, present, and future sins upon himself so that we could have a new life in Christ. Because all of our wrongdoing is forgiven, we are reconciled to God. Furthermore, Jesus’ resurrection from the dead is proof that his substitutionary sacrifice on the cross was acceptable to God, and his resurrection has become the source of a new life in Christ for whoever believes that Jesus is the Son of God. All who believe in him have this new life in Christ and can live victoriously in union with him. Wear the cross proudly; he paid the price for you with the shedding of his blood.
